Lon V. Leneve Lon has over 30 years of financial, administrative and operational experience through his work in a variety of industries. Prior to providing executive level services via his consulting firm Lon held senior management positions at a variety of companies, including serving as President & COO of Copper Mountain Trust; President & CEO of Skylink Telecommunications; and VP & Treasurer of Americold Corporation. He began his career with the accounting firm KPMG, during which time he became a CPA. Lon brings extensive experience in areas of compliance and risk management, corporate governance, employment practices, finance and general management oversight. Lon is a frequent speaker at various industry events, including 20 Groups, compliance seminars and state association events. He holds a B.S. degree from Oregon State University.
Jeanette Slepian Jeanette has over 30 years of sales, marketing, strategic business development and executive management experience in a diversity of industries. For the past 15 years she has worked with technology companies focused on business-to-business and business-to consumer applications. Jeanette has served as Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing at Fios Inc, President of BetterManagement, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAS Institute, Vice President Global Communications and Counsel at ABC Technologies, Vice President Business Development at 800.com and Vice President Sales and Account Management at Get There.com (formerly Internet Travel Network). She is a member of the Oregon State Bar, has served as in-house counsel and government affairs advisor to multiple organizations and is a frequent speaker at global business conferences.
Nick Goodell Nick brings an outstanding combination of industry, software and risk management experience to the job. He came to Compli having successfully productized web-based risk & safety management software for a mid sized regional trucking company, where he was responsible for launching, scaling and maintaining the operations of the business. Prior to that Nick worked in the Property and Casualty insurance industry, working for the Pennsylvania National Mutual Insurance Company and the Crum & Forster Insurance Company as a claims expert. In addition to his trucking and transportation management experience, he sits on both the National Private Truck Council Institute Board of Governors as well as the National Private Truck Council Safety Committee (Technology Sub-Committee). Nick holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware, and an M.B.A. from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
Darrel Young During the 30 years Darrel has worked in software development, he has managed local and off-shore development teams for multiple, internationalized software products ranging from DoD financial applications, healthcare, CRM, SMB ERP frameworks and tools. Growing up in the Midwest and graduating from Indiana University with a B.A. in Political Science and later pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University in Indianapolis, he moved to Portland with his family in 1999 to direct the re-architecture of Clientele’s CRM system, which later was honored by eWeek as .NET CRM product of the year. He brings extensive experience in the identification and refinement of business requirements, project scope oversight, software design and implementation improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and increase product quality.

Ken Thrasher Prior to joining Compli, Ken served 19 years in executive positions with Fred Meyer Stores including CFO and Executive Vice President with oversight of HR, finance and administration. He later became President and CEO of Fred Meyer Stores division after Fred Meyer merged with The Kroger Company. Currently, Ken serves on the boards of Northwest Natural, The Jensen Fund, Friends of the Children, the Children's Institute, Oregon Mentors, The Leaders Roundtable, Oregon Business Council and PSU’s Foundation board. He was also appointed by the Governor as Chairperson of the Quality Education Commission for Oregon in 2001 and served through 2004 as its Chairperson, and chaired Portland State University's Capital/Endowment Campaign through its completion in 2006. Ken is a graduate of Oregon State University, where he serves on the College of Business’ Dean’s Circle of Excellence.
Robert J. Miller, Jr. Before Co-Founding Compli, Robert was an attorney with the Law-Firm Moomaw, Miller & Hildebrand LLP. Robert represented both employers and employees in a wide range of cases including sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, and wrongful termination. In combination with his litigation work, Robert emphasized the integration of strategic compliance and preventative governance programs with his corporate clients to help avoid claims and issues. This preventative philosophy was the genesis of Compli. Robert received undergraduate degrees in Business and History from the University of Oregon and his JD from Willamette University of Law and is an active member of the Oregon State Bar. Robert currently resides in California where he spends the majority of his time working with Compli's publicly traded customers and Auto Dealerships who both face significant compliance and regulatory challenges. He frequently appears as a speaker at legal seminars and association events where strategic compliance and risk management are topics of interest.
Jonica Smith During her tenure at Compli, Jonica has worked to establish Compli as a trusted brand and respected thought leader. She has put her extensive logistical expertise to work managing multiple marketing and press campaigns, implementing various cutting edge seminars and events while continuously working closely with Subject Matter Experts and Compli Partners to bring the very latest in HR and compliance management to customers and those within the industries Compli serves. In addition, she spearheads Compli’s widely attended Monthly Webinar Series, bringing highly informative and relevant topics from industry experts to the public. Prior to her time at Compli, Jonica worked in the education, energy, hospitality and automotive industries. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Oregon in Political Science and Business.
Kyle Walker Kyle actively works with Compli’s Subject Mater Experts and Strategic Partners to create innovative solutions for Compli clients. In addition to his continuous focus on keeping Compli clients abreast of new regulations and changes in the law, Kyle has delivered Compli Counsel, Compli Partner Services, an expansive training library and more. Kyle has also extensively worked directly with clients during the rollout, implementation and support process. Prior to his time at Compli, Kyle worked in the wholesale florist industry as a sales manager and buyer. Kyle holds a B.S. degree from Portland State University is Sociology and English.
