How to Keep Your Employees Engaged
With the current economy, where “doing more with less” is the mantra of many, now is a crucial time to focus in on your personnel. Follow these helpful hints to ensure a more productive and loyal workforce:
- Create an easy‐to‐use automated “Employee Center” that holds company information, policies, forms, procedures, back issues of newsletters and other internal information for all employees (great when you have several locations)
- Add a web‐based announcement board for department and company‐wide notices
- Give employees transparency‐post a list of what training they need and how they can complete their training requirements
- Help employees prioritize by assigning a customized list of required tasks
By making sure your employees have a central place to go for company communications, required items and other internal information you will actively engage your workforce. As a result your employees will feel fully informed and will confidently complete their tasks quickly and with more accuracy.
