Ergonomics
The purpose of the Ergonomics program is to prevent repetitive motion injuries (RMIs) in the workplace. RMIs are soft tissue injuries typically to the nerves, tendons, muscles or ligaments in the hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, back, neck and legs. The risk of developing a RMI can be controlled by eliminating or reducing risk factors that include, force, repetition, awkward postures, static postures, contact stress and vibration.
