Hazardous Energy Control
The Hazardous Energy Control program describes procedures for protecting employees from the hazards of unexpected energization, start up, or release of stored energy from machinery and equipment during maintenance and servicing of this equipment. The procedures described will ensure that the machine or equipment is stopped, isolated from all potentially hazardous energy sources and locked and/or tagged out before employees perform any servicing or maintenance where the unexpected energization or start up of the machine or equipment, or release of stored energy could cause injury.
Compli's Hazardous Energy Control program includes the following elements:
- Policies and Procedures
- Supervisor Guidelines
- Quarterly Audit/Review Checklist
- Employee Training
