Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality
This Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) program helps ensure that good indoor air quality is maintained in an organization’s buildings. The program describes how to respond to employee IAQ concerns, including the use of industrial hygiene exposure assessments. The goals of the program include preventing IAQ issues through effective building design, proactive management of construction projects, using effective HVAC preventive maintenance procedures to ensure proper ventilation; providing guidance in responding to IAQ complaints; and discovering the causes of complaints and resolving them quickly, and preventing their recurrence.
