Diverse. Inspired. Driven to innovate.
Our leadership team hails from prestigious careers in executive management, risk assessment, human resources, employment law and information technology. The common thread? An unyielding desire to simplify and improve the lives of compliance professionals everywhere.
Rob Warmack, CEO
“I get immense satisfaction out of helping people figure out a problem,” which is why Rob really enjoys his work at Compli. As the CEO he gets to be a part of discovering creative solutions to a wide variety of challenges. And coaching employees to help them be even better at their jobs.
After 30+ years in the software industry Rob has become a seasoned executive with a track record of helping B2B companies realize success. After holding executive marketing positions at various startup companies he settled in for almost 10 years at Tripwire until he joined Compli in 2014.
Rob’s managerial style encourages passion within employees. He is adept at breaking through the noise of the marketplace and enabling sales channels to capture their unfair share of revenue.
Rob has an artist inside of him that comes out through writing, playing piano, and most importantly, cooking. If he’s not at home in the evenings making a mess of the kitchen while listening to music he can be found outside appreciating the Pacific Northwest, enjoying a meal out with his wife, or perhaps flying off to Europe to sample the culture and the cuisine.
Top three movies: Princess Bride, Monty Python’s Holy Grail, Caddy Shack.
Wendy Miller, VP Customer Success
“We are not only building something from a company perspective but from a team perspective.” Growth is a key component to what makes Wendy tick. Growing a solid team that can meet and exceed the needs of the customers means that Compli will grow as well. And knowing that our product is helping our customers manage and grow their businesses is the cherry on top.
With 20 years of experience in the technology realm, Wendy is a knowledgeable leader focused on exceeding client expectations through technical solutions. Her career spans managing Customer Success for GTS Services, an ERP Software solution for the Glass Industry along with Product Management, Client Services and Strategic Development positions for both start-ups and established companies such as Direct Revenue, About.com, and Hachette Filipacchi.
Wendy has an ability to define and meet client needs and objectives, and provide high-quality client service to help ensure strong and lasting client relationships while maximizing company profitability
For Wendy, life is a story to be told. And, she believes the best way to tell that story is to live life to the fullest. Whether it’s enjoying a concert with her husband, wandering the farmers market, going on a hike with her dog, savoring brunch with friends, organizing a community fundraiser or hosting Sunday dinner, she keeps her days chocked full of future story-telling material.
Top three movies: Anything with Collin Firth, 16 candles, any bad Romantic Comedy.
Don Dornblaser, VP Engineering & Product
“I love the people the most.” Was Don’s immediate response when asked what he likes most about working at Compli. In addition to the people, he loves that Compli is a company that has the right combination of moxie and discipline to accomplish great things.
Don is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in product development. His strengths are in finding and developing talented software managers, engineers, architects, and testers and managing them to high performance. He has honed his skill at building and managing engineering teams at TiVo, Yahoo!, and WebMD.
Don has no shame in admitting to the exhaustive array of 80s New Wave hits that dominate his iTunes library, though he can also be found listening to a little Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra when the mood strikes. While his career is in technology, filmmaking is in his heart. On the weekends he can usually be found rooting his kids on at a soccer game or diving for pennies at the bottom of Wilson Pool. In between, he will enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee unless he is searching for someone’s lost Shopkin.
Top three movies: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (of course), The Untouchables, Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
Mike Lund, VP Sales
“I came to Compli because I strongly believe in the value we deliver,” says Mike Lund, Compli’s Vice President of Sales. Mike is motivated by helping companies protect their organizations and their employees. “We help companies build a productive, efficient, and compliant work environment and that makes it an easy product to talk about as it’s such an important part of any business.” Mike adds, “I also love working in environments where there’s a lot of collaboration and teamwork, I get that at Compli,” and we couldn’t agree more.
Mike graduated from Portland State University with a Business degree and immersed himself in technology sales right from the start of his career. Before joining Compli, Mike was Director of Partnerships at SureID focusing on reseller partnerships.
Outside of work, Mike likes to get outdoors to ski, paddle board, or bike with his wife, Lori. They often head out of town to spend time at their cabin on Mt. Hood national forest land that was built in 1935. They always love it when their three grown kids can join them in their adventures.
Blazers or Timbers? Timbers! Lori coached soccer for 25 years and we’re both huge fans and season ticket holders. RCTID!!!
Dogs or cats? Dogs! We have 3, a Boxer (Halle), a chubby wiener dog (Buddha) and a skinny wiener dog (Puka Lani).
Favorite movies? Guardians of the Galaxy, The Shawshank Redemption, and Elf.
Michelle Waddell, VP Finance & Accounting
“I like to add value, especially with a company that’s growing really fast,” that’s what drove Michelle to join Compli as our VP of Finance and Accounting.
Michelle lights up when she can fix a problem or tweak a process that makes everything about a transaction more efficient. She enjoys the financial analysis space, where she started in her career. She likes the quick pace, varied projects, and impact that she has across the organization in her role at Compli. But, as much as she enjoys helping build pricing or financial models and forecasting company growth, what Michelle really enjoys is the people she works with.
Originally a Tennessee native, Michelle moved to Houston, after graduating from the University of Memphis. After a few years in the south, she made her way to Oregon with her husband. She misses the Tex-Mex in Houston but loves this Northwest green where she hikes and works on her photography along the way. This winter Michelle is getting into cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with friends. Michelle also enjoys the blue wonders of scuba diving and goes whenever she can.
Cats or Dogs? Dogs.
Best dish Michelle makes: Prime rib.
Favorite movie: As an “’80s gal” she has to go with “The Breakfast Club.”
