Carrots, Carrots and More Carrots
The first ever Compli Cares volunteer event was a rousing success. On Friday, October 23, a team of 8 from Compli volunteered at the Oregon Food Bank Distribution Center in northeast Portland. The Compli Cares team joined several other corporate volunteer teams to sort, package and weigh several pallets of carrots donated from local farms in Oregon and Washington.

28,000 pounds of carrots!
The Oregon Food Bank’s mission is to work with a cooperative, statewide network of partner agencies to distribute emergency food to hungry families. They fight hunger’s root causes through public policy advocacy, nutrition and garden education and work to strengthen community food systems.
Our own company’s mission to inspire confidence by providing clients with tools they need to meet workforce obligations and to keep them from worrying about corporate compliance and regulations. But we also work to bring that promise of a helping hand to our community. That’s why we formed Complí Cares. This year, our team was honored to help OFB in their fight to help eradicate hunger in the state. When you’re hungry, confidence can rarely be achieved.
Check back for more updates from the Complí Cares team in the coming weeks and months.
