Compli-ple: Meet Matt Damkroger, VP Of Sales
“In a world where technology is ever-changing, it is exciting to be a part of the cutting-edge,” says Matt Damkroger, Compli’s VP of Sales. Matt is passionate about looking for ways to grow and reach more customers and is motivated by the people he works with – prospects, customers and colleagues – everyday. “Being able to provide a service that makes customers more successful at their jobs is exciting.”
Matt comes to Compli with a solid background in tech sales. Prior to joining Compli he was the Director of Sales with Puppet Labs and before that, Matt was an Account Executive with Tripwire. He studied finance at the University of Oregon but knew that his future was in sales. The opportunity for growth in the tech field is what drew him in.
Underneath this tech sales junkie exterior is a family man who loves Saturday morning walks and Sunday football with his toddler son. His parents moved to Oregon when he was 10-years old and so started his loyalty to the Oregon Ducks. Although he still loves sports, now he’s also busy supporting the amazing craft brewing, Willamette Valley wine and culinary scene in the Portland area. He loves to cook and benefits from his family connections – a mother with a catering business and a sister with a culinary degree – to elevate him to ‘foodie’ status.
