National Labor Relations Act: Also referred to as the Wagner Act. This Act protects workers and encourages growth of the union movement. The NLRA legally recognizes workers’ rights to organize and bargain collectively with employers. In addition, the National Labor Relations Board, or NLRB, was formed under the Act.
