The Business Case for Training & Learning Technology
Nerds still get a bad rap. What’s wrong with the desire to learn everything there is to know about a certain topic, or dedicate hundreds of hours of your time to a pursuit most people have never thought twice about? Don’t answer that.

Maybe it’s because we’re fairly nerdy ourselves, but as long as the subject matter in question doesn’t hurt anyone, we think it’s, um, pretty cool to nerd out every now and then.
Wait, did I write “cool?” I meant profitable. Nerds know how to make money. That means that if you indulge your employees’ inherent nerdiness—if you invest in workforce training and learning technology—your business stands to gain in terms of increased employee engagement, productivity, and revenue, as well as lower costs and rates of turnover.
If you want to nerd out about learning some more, check out our recent webinar: The Power of Online Training. Presented by thought leaders from Skillsoft, Smith Amundsen, and Compli, the webinar is chock-full of glasses-fogging-ly nerdy information about training and learning.
