Compli’s Tone At The Top: The People Behind The People
Our CEO, Rob Warmack, says, “Compliance is a people problem.” I wanted to introduce you, our readers, to the executive team behind the people that make up Compli, the people working to solve your problems.
Beyond their almost mutual love of the movie, The Princess Bride, (3 out of 4 put it on their list of top movies when I interviewed them) the main thing they all have in common is their desire to build something. When your company is in startup mode it’s good to be into building things. But their passion goes beyond just building a successful company. They want to build their employee’s skills to help them grow into robust teams. They want to build strong teams to help customers build profitable businesses. As different as all these executives are they are the driving force behind the growth of Compli and therefor the growth of our customers.
Beyond their almost mutual love of the movie, The Princess Bride, (3 out of 4 put it on their list of top movies when I interviewed them) the main thing they all have in common is their desire to build something.

CEO Rob Warmack – is a problem solver. He loves to coach his people, to help them solve problems, whether those problems are building new processes or working out the kinks in old ones. The thing that drew him to Compli was that the purpose of our company is to build a product that solves people’s problems.

VP of Customer Success Wendy Miller – is into growth. She loves growing a solid team and watching them flourish. Being able to put that team into action to help customers and troubleshoot issues is what satisfies her at the end of the day. The cherry on top is that our team at Compli is on the leading edge of workforce compliance technology. We are forging new paths as the compliance industry grows.

VP of Technology Don Dornblaser – is a developer. Not only in the software sense but also in the sense of developing teams and individuals. His specialty is taking new talent and guiding them to develop their skills that fit with the team. The result is a well-oiled development team taking on tasks and solving problems.

CTO Mark Petrie – wants to make a difference. Working from the ground up building software means every move you make makes a difference and you can see the results play out almost immediately. This means that we can swiftly make changes to solve a customer’s problems and in the process make our software better.
If you want to talk about the Tone at the Top I would say this executive team has it on lock down. Every executive I interviewed gave me such a strong sense of passion for not only our company and our product but also for the people in our company. They all want to see this company succeed because that is their job but they strive to see the people succeed. After these interviews I was left with such a sense of satisfaction that I had chosen this company to work for I am proud to say I work for Compli and look forward to seeing what we build, how we develop in the marketplace, what problems we solve and how we will make a difference in the future.
