At Compli, we believe compliance should add value to your business rather than getting in the way of your bottom line. Our aim is to help you hire and retain drivers. And, at our upcoming webinar with Heavy Duty Trucking magazine, we’re going to show you how—in fewer steps than there are wheels on a rig.
On June 20th, at 11am Pacific (2pm Eastern), our panel will explore 4 ways to find and retain good, safe drivers. Hosted by HDT Editor in Chief Deborah Lockridge, “4 Steps to Retain Drivers and Keep the Wheels Rolling” will demonstrate how a mix of technology and personal attention can help you keep your essential employees engaged and motivated.
The webinar will cover…
- How to do onboarding right—and do it efficiently
- Training drivers without wasting their time and your money
- Why ongoing communication is key to a driver-centric corporate culture
- Keeping drivers safe, for their sake and yours
So, who are these speakers?

Deborah Lockridge, Editor in Chief, Heavy Duty Trucking
Deborah Lockridge is an award-winning journalist and editor who has covered the trucking industry for 27 years and counting. As Editor in Chief for Heavy Duty Trucking and Truckinginfo.com, she oversees content read by more than 115,000 executives at commercial truck fleets. Over the course of her career, Deborah has focused on topics such as big-picture industry trends, business management, oils and lubes, and—of course—drivers.

Debbie Landry, Director of Driver Services, Halvor Lines
For more than 14 years, Debbie Landry has served as Halvor Lines’ Director of Driver Services, a position she refers to as “Vice President of Happiness.” Her duties encompass everything it takes to keep drivers safe, productive, and satisfied with their jobs. Her goal, she says, “is to address driver’s issues that occasionally arise and to work with the driver and the Halvor staff to find a solution that will make their career at Halvor Lines one that is rewarding and that they are proud of.” Quite a feat at a company with a 98% on-time record, and which has been named one of the “Best Fleets to Drive For” on four separate occasions.
