The sun’s out until 9pm, the smells of smoke and chlorinated pool water fill in the air, and your day job seems a little (or a lot) less urgent than usual. Yes, summer’s here, and it’s the perfect opportunity to take some time off and get out there on the road to cross some things off your bucket list.
What are you doing this summer?
As for us: well, we’re heading back to Compliance Canyon! Grandma didn’t get to see it last year. And we heard they redid the amusement park. And there are new postcards at the gift shop. And… okay, okay. We go to Compliance Canyon every year. Call it a summer tradition. Honestly, it’s a beautiful sight—there’s no place else like it on Earth. It’s just so blissfully productive and secure, you know?
Whatever your summer has in store, make some time to visit Compliance Canyon. It’s a lot closer than you may think it is, and we guarantee you’ll have a good time. Before you go, however, you’ll need to prepare for the road:
Plan your trip.
It’s easier to stay on course when every compliance activity has a plan. Your GPS is your CMS. These days, a good CMS will notify you of any detours (i.e. changing regulations) that may lie ahead.
Keep your passengers entertained.
When staff is engaged, they’re part of the solution—not the problem. If your passengers feel like active, interested participants in compliance, they’ll help you navigate rather than asking, “Are we there yet?”

Watch your dashboard!
Know when you are in compliance and when you may be in trouble, so you can make corrections to stay on the road to Compliance Canyon. Your vehicle (i.e. organization) will give you plenty of indications before something goes wrong—do you know where to look for the signs, and what they mean?
