Survey Says: Top Compliance Concerns Revealed
In honor of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, Complí asked compliance, HR, operations and IT managers to rank the most important elements of compliance for their organization.
The envelope, please:
- Communication and educating employees – 39.13%
- Establishing policies and procedures – 30.34%
- Implementing ethics and compliance programs – 13.04%
- Monitoring, reporting, and auditing – 13.04%
- Identifying workforce/business obligations – 4.35%
Clearly, priorities vary, depending on the respondents’ industry and job responsibilities. But common concerns apply throughout an organization and across all industries. At the core, it’s about instilling a “culture of compliance” from the loading dock to the C-suite.
To help prioritize and get a handle on your organizational compliance, Complí sponsored a graphic with the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG)– the Path to Compliance Obligation Management. This path guides organizations and subject matter experts through the complexities of requirements to help streamline and re-tune their compliance programs, mitigate risk and satisfy audits.
In addition, we’ll post tips and information on the survey topics every day this week.
