Mary Harrington role in the Treasury & Payment Solutions team at SunTrust Bank as Technical Product Consultant encompasses several areas including Fraud Mitigation and Payables Solutions.
Joe’s broad experience includes the defense of a wide variety of discrimination and discharge claims brought under Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and whistleblower statutes. He routinely defends state law claims including workers’ comp retaliation, breach of contract, fraud, defamation, malicious prosecution, and assault.
George has successfully completed multiple acquisitions and disposition of Texas-based auto dealers, including associated assets such as dealer owned real estate, protecting dealers’ rights across a broad spectrum of concerns. This representation includes negotiation of agreements with consumer and floor plan lenders, consumer litigation, and compliance with the various administrative agencies governing this industry. George currently represents some of the top publicly traded and closely held auto dealers in the country.
In addition to Payables product consulting responsibilities, she is the Treasury & Payment Solutions Fraud Specialist. She works closely with the SunTrust Fraud Prevention and Risk Management teams to stay abreast of critical issues impacting both the Bank and our Clients. She provides advisory services and presentations about current fraud & cybercrime trends including mitigation tools and best practices.
